How to Download and Watch Anime Offline

Premium members can download your favorite anime through Laftel app and watch it whenever you want without internet connection.

Just make sure you’re using the latest version of Laftel app on a supported mobile device.

How to Download Anime

You can download individual episodes or download all episodes at once — it’s up to you!

  1. Open the Laftel app on your Android or iOS device.

  2. Select the anime you want to download and go to its detail page.

  3. Choose how you want to download:

    • To download a single episode: Tap the [↓] icon next to the episode title.

    • To download all episodes at once: Tap [N episodes↓] at the top-right corner of the episode list.

    • Note: Even if you’re connected to Wi-Fi, your device may switch to mobile data if the signal is weak, the connection quality is poor, or the network is unstable.

      To avoid using mobile data while downloading, go to Me > Downloads > Wi-Fi Only and make sure it’s turned on before you start your download.

  4. Select the video quality.

    • You can save your preferred download quality for future downloads.

    • To change it later, go to: Me > Downloads > Download Quality.

  5. Tap [Download] to begin.

    • You can track the progress of your download.

    • Downloads will continue even when the app is running in the background.

    • To cancel a download, tap the progress icon and select [Cancel download].

    • If a download fails, an (!) exclamation icon will appear next to the episode. Tap the icon, then select [Retry download] to start the download again.

  6. Once complete, a checkmark (✓) icon will appear next to the episode.

※ Note: Each downloaded anime is stored on the device where it was downloaded. To watch it on another device, you’ll need to download it there as well.

 

Availability Period of Downloaded Anime

Premium members can download anime and watch it offline as many times as you’d like during your subscription period.

However, due to copyright agreements, downloaded anime can only be stored for a limited time. To continue watching offline, you’ll need to renew your downloads periodically.

How to Renew Your Downloads:

  1. Tap [Library] at the bottom of the screen.

  2. Go to the [Download] tab.

  3. Tap the (!) icon shown next to the episode.

  4. Select [Renew download].

 

Watching Downloaded Anime Offline

  1. Open the Laftel app on your Android or iOS device.

  2. Tap [Library] at the bottom of the screen.

  3. Go to the [Download] tab.

  4. Select the content you want to watch and start playing it — no internet needed!
