Laftel is an internet-based digital content streaming service, so various factors such as your device specifications, network environment, and service provider can affect your viewing experience. These factors might cause buffering, connection errors, slow loading, skipping, or poor video quality.
To address these issues, please follow the steps below in order:
-
Disconnect VPN or Proxy Server
If you are using a VPN or proxy server, please disconnect it and then try playing the content again.
VPNs encrypt data and use bypass routes that can reduce network speed. Turning off the VPN allows a direct connection, which can improve speed and performance.
Proxy servers process data in the middle, which can reduce network speed. Disabling the proxy server allows data to be delivered directly, improving speed and streaming performance.
-
Disable iCloud Private Relay
Laftel provides content based on licensing agreements and is only available in Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, and the Philippines. Therefore, the service is provided based on IP addresses from Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, and the Philippines.
iCloud Private Relay is a feature available to iCloud+ subscribers that hides the user's actual IP address and uses a temporary IP address provided by Apple. This can cause the user's IP address to appear different from their actual location, resulting in incorrect regional recognition.
